Call Center
The Love INC Call Center is the foundation of Love INC of Van Wert County. It is also the first opportunity Love INC has to connect neighbors in need with local church volunteers.
Call Center volunteers receive requests for help and take time to hear the story of each individual. The information received is verified and each request is prayed over. Individuals are then referred to church ministries, church volunteers and/or community agencies for assistance. Call Center volunteers also follow up with each individual to ensure assistance was received and to offer continued support.
Gap Ministries
As the Call Center receives requests for help," gaps" in community resources and services are identified. Love INC works with partner churches to build ministries that fill in those gaps.
Love INC of Van Wert County, through local church volunteers, provides several gap ministry services; such as budget counseling, backpacks for the homeless, a furniture bank, as well as a bicycle, handyman and care package ministry.
Transformational Ministry
Transformational Ministry provides opportunities for individuals to learn and grow through weekly life skills classes on a particular topic; such as finances or goal setting.
Groups meet from 4-12 weeks and provide support, encouragement and accountability through caring relationships. Participants also have the opportunity to earn material support or special access to Love INC Gap Ministries.
